Alice's Accomplishments: First 100 Days

This past weekend, Alice celebrated her first 100 days. We must say we are impressed, as her accomplishments during this time period would rival those of any great public figure.

She was born. She came home from the hospital. She met the family. She started bathing. She learned to like bathing.

She learned to smile and giggle!

She was baptized. She learned to dance and sing.

She started sleeping through the night and napping regularly.

She went to Fenway Park.

She went camping.

She started giving kisses!

We can't wait to see what the future holds, but for this little one, we would give an "A+" for her first 100 days!

Here are some recent photos for you to enjoy.

Saturday Morning Tearjerker ;)

This is a beautiful article that was reprinted in the Boston Globe this morning. We thought you would enjoy it. Click this link to read it:

Beverly Beckham: I was the sun, the kids were my planets - The Boston Globe

It's amazing how quickly Alice has already grown over these past few months. Remember when she was this little?

Everyone is so right when they talk about how quickly this time passes. We try to enjoy every moment!

Have a fun weekend!

Camping with Grammie and Grampie

This weekend, to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary, the Petersons traveled down to the Bourne Scenic Park to visit Grammie and Grampie Baptiste at their seasonal RV camp site for Alice's first camping trip! As you can see, Gram and Gramp were very happy to see little Alice.

Alice enjoyed having a chance to spend some quality time with her grandparents since she hasn't had a chance to do so in a while. It was fun to get out of the city, enjoy picnics and campfires, and walks on the canal.

Thanks especially to Grammie and Grampie who surprised Scott and Lisa with a dinner out and their expert babysitting skills to celebrate the big anniversary. Dan and Chris came along for the dinner while Grammie and Grampie and Alice hung out together at the campground.

It was a really fun weekend and we are amazed as we reflect back on the past 6 years. It has been a wonderful ride so far and we are looking forward to all that the future holds for us in our marriage and for our family.

Here are the rest of the photos from the weekend
. Enjoy!

Today is Alice's quarter birthday! Hooray Alice! We are celebrating by going down to the cape to visit Grammie and Grampie at the campground. This will be Alice's first camping experience and she is excited!

Before we left for the campground, we took the three month photos. The bulk of them are on the web here and a couple are below.

Thursday Night at the Movies

We just uploaded the files from our video camera and were shocked at how many great video clips we had on the disk. Rather than spacing them all out, we thought we would just do a video dump now! Grab some popcorn and enjoy the shows!

First Trip to Fenway Park and Other Exciting Adventures!

It has been an exciting week, filled with lots of fun adventures! The most exciting was Alice's first trip to Fenway Park, the home of the Boston Red Sox. We took her to "Futures at Fenway", a showcase of the talent in the Red Sox minor leagues and a day created by the Red Sox for their younger fans. Here we are at Fenway Park enjoying the game:

Alice has enjoyed watching the Red Sox on TV all season, so she was very excited to visit Fenway and see what all the fuss was about. Here she was getting ready to go. As you can see, her hat is still a bit big on her!:

In other news, Alice now loves "sitting up" like a big girl on the sofa. Here she is showing off her new skills:

Alice and Ella have become fast friends and now spend some time talking and hanging out every day:

Even though Alice is only about to pass the three month mark, she is eager to get moving! Here she is attempting to crawl over to No-nee. We have no doubt she will be up and moving around long before we are ready!

On Monday of this past week, Leah and her roommate Korynne came over to make us dinner and spend the evening visiting with us. Here is everyone checking out Leah's new Blackberry!

Alice has really become quite helpful and enjoys folding clothes with Daddy and Mommy every Sunday evening. Here she is helping Daddy fold clothes. She is all cheeks and chins and thighs these days and it is impossible to avoid just eating her up! :)

Here she is posing for the camera. She is really becoming quite the ham these days!

Finally, we attended Dan and Holly's son Emery's 1st birthday party at a park in Brookline. Here is Alice and Daddy visiting with Emery and his Grandma. The party was lots of fun!

Here is a link to the rest of the photos from this past week. Enjoy!

Alice Makes a New Friend

Lisa's good friend from college, Melynda, and her new son, Nicholas, stopped by on Friday evening to visit with us. Nicholas was born on June 10th, just shy of a month after Alice. It was lots of fun to see Melynda and to finally meet little Nicholas!

Alice was especially excited to meet her new friend. We are sure they will be great friends. They already had fun together, as you can see!

Saturday morning, Alice had her first trip to the mall. Here she is helping Daddy pick out new sunglasses:

She had lots of fun today. It was the first day we put her in the baby carrier and she really enjoyed that!

Here are the rest of our recent pictures. Enjoy!
