Our baby is 11 Months Old!!!

Our little baby Alice will be a year old in less than a month.  We have been feeling a bit nostalgic lately, remembering all the ways we were preparing for her arrival last year, having no idea what to expect of this little person who was about to make her arrival!  Now, we can't imagine life without her!

Here are a few recent photos of our 11 month old Alice!

She and Daddy always enjoy their weekend mornings together.  Here they are hanging out, playing Scrabble, watching golf together and having a snack!

Alice's personality has been shining through more and more recently.  We especially love all of her many funny expressions!

She has really grown from a baby to such a "kid" - here she is sitting in the hallway in her long-sleeved t-shirt, jeans and sneakers!

Alice is SO CLOSE to walking!   In the meantime, until she gains the confidence to step out and walk on her own, her walker continues to be very helpful as she gets around throughout the house.

Alice is more and more aware of herself, and seems to be really understanding the concept of the mirror now.  She loves to look at things in the mirror, then turn around and look at them in the room - this will entertain her endlessly these days!

We have lots of fun planned for this summer with Alice, and we are so happy that the weather is warming up so that we can get out for longer walks with her.  Until next time, here are some recent photos of Alice as she became an 11 month old.  Enjoy!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to everyone!

Today was Alice's first experience with Easter and she had a great time.  It seems the Easter bunny knew to visit our house this year and he left Alice some tasty treats.  She woke up bright and early just to start the hunt for those colored eggs.

After the eggs were found she put on her pretty Easter dress and we we got ready to head out for the day.  Before we left though, she needed to check out the eggs once more.

We went down to Middleboro to visit Grammie and Grampie.  Once we arrived it turned out that everyone was just waiting for Alice to entertain the group!

The other big news is that Alice is now up to six teeth!  The two bottom chompers are easy to see, but she is reluctant to show off the four upper teeth.  Here is a rare view! (Also, she has been sick this week with her first real cold.... the runny nose has not gone away yet, hence all the boogies)

Lots of bonus pictures in the web album!
