We have now hit the 38 week mark, which is well within the safe range for having a baby. In fact, last week (37 weeks) our baby was technically considered "full term" which was an exciting milestone! We have been doing lots to prepare for the baby recently - childbirth classes, organizing the nursery, finishing sewing, and enjoying these last few weeks together as a family of two! We are looking forward to meeting the baby, but we (Lisa in particular) have a lot to do still at work before taking time off, so we are hoping the baby will relax and enjoy itself in there for just a bit longer!

ReplyDeleteI hate to tell you Lisa but it is going to be a little bit yet until the baby comes. You have not yet 'lost your smile' as they say. You are still radiant.

This is the hard part! Every contraction, every twinge, every appointment, waiting and wondering if this "is it." And it's so frustrating! But just know that the baby WILL COME OUT! :) When I woke up and looked at the calendar and it was my due date, and still no baby, I was certain I would be pregnant forever, but I wasn't, and you won't be either! You will have your body back and your sweet baby in your arms VERY soon! Yey!!!! SO excited for you guys! Can't wait to see pics of lil Cornflake. ;)
